First Coast in the Community

In The Community

First Coast Community Credit Union is an active and responsible member of the communities we represent. We work to serve our membership through financial products, services and education, and we also give back to those in Putnam and Flagler counties through the various charitable works we promote.

A group of ladies from FCCCU poses by the water at the Annual Celebrity Chef event that benefitted the Lee Conlee House. The event, arranged by the organization’s Board of Directors, is held each April at the home of Tim and Darlene Smith.

Local celebrities show off their culinary skills and feed participants who spend their evening fellowshipping with friends and neighbors while enjoying the sunset view on the St. John’s River. Every participant received a cookbook with all of the recipes served at the event.

The First Coast CCU running team has some fun at the finish line of the inaugural “Breaking Free” 5k Run to benefit the Lee Conlee House (formerly Helping Hands of Putnam County). The Lee Conlee House was the vision and hard work of a group of dedicated individuals who wanted to open a shelter for survivors of domestic violence in Putnam County, Florida. Previously, survivors of domestic violence and their children received services in Alachua County. The first Putnam County shelter was opened in 1998.
