We understand that our members furnish us with sensitive and
confidential information in the daily course of business, and
we pledge to protect your privacy.
Types of Information the Credit Union Collects
At First Coast Community Credit Union, we collect
non-public personal information about you from many sources.
- Information received directly from members, joint owners,
co-borrowers, and guarantors on various applications and
forms, for example: loan applications, deposit account applications,
and requests for information about accounts or products
and services such as your name, address, social security
number, assets and income;
- Information as a result of your transactions with us,
our affiliates, and others; and as a result of providing
our products and services, such as account balance, payment
history, parties to your transactions and credit card usage;
and
- Information we receive from consumer reporting agencies
regarding your creditworthiness and credit history.
- Information obtained when verifying the information that
you provide on an application or other forms, such as from
your current or past employers or from other institutions
where you conduct financial transactions.
Types of Information that the Credit Union Discloses
First Coast Community Credit Union does not now, nor
does it presently intend in the future, to disclose any personal
financial information about our members or former members,
except as required or permitted by law.
Disclosure as Permitted by Law
Our goal, at FCCCU is to provide you with competitive products
and services to meet your financial needs. In order to do
so, we have entered into agreements with other companies that
provide either services to us or additional financial products
for you to consider. We share information about you with these
companies to complete your transactions and to provide you
with certain financial opportunities.
We may disclose all of the information we collect, as described
above, to companies that perform marketing or other services
on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom
we have joint marketing agreements (for example check printing
companies). To protect our members privacy, we only
worth with companies that agree to maintain strong confidentiality
protections and limit the use of the information that we provide.
We do not permit these companies to sell this information
to third parties.
Safeguarding Member Information
At First Coast Community Credit Union, we take every
reasonable precaution to protect individual identifying information
that you provide to us. We restrict access of nonpublic personal
information about you to employees who need to know the information
to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical,
electronic and proceduralsafeguards that comply with federal
regulations to safeguard your nonpublic personal information.
If you decide to terminate your membership or become an inactive
member, we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices
described in this notice.
The Credit Union reserves the right to modify, change or
amend this Privacy Policy and Agreement at any time without
notice other than as expressly required by applicable law.
